The Honey Bee (Apis) prefers to live in gardens, woodlands, meadows and other areas where flowering plants are abundant. Because of that conditions they can live in almost every place. Honey Bees consume pollen and nektar from a variety of flowers and their larves eat honey made from the worker bees. There are also three types of castes, that are in this painting. The bee on the left is a worker bee, tha works her whole live for the colonie. THe bee in the middle is the queen. She is there to produce "kids"/new bees. The last bee on the right is the drone. Heis the male bee and is there to make the queen pregnant to produce new kids.

Conservation status: Least Concern
