The Eurasian blue tit (Cyanistes caeruleus) are considered native species in areas of the European continent with a mainly temperate or Mediterranean climate, and in parts of the Middle East. In Great Britain the Eurasian blue tit can be found in a variety of environments, and is typically found in deciduous woodland, parks, gardens and even in the centre of towns. You can recognize the blue tit by it's colourful little bird with a blue cap, white cheeks, black eyestripes, a greeny-blue back, yellow belly, and blue wings and tail.
When insects are highly active, they are not too picky. Any types of insects, caterpillars and spiders are all on their menu. They measure usually 12 cm for both sexes and weighs about 11 g .
