These two species: the capybara (or carpincho, as we call it in Argentina) and the purple-throated euphonia (Euphonia chlorotica) share a beautiful example of mutualism, where both benefit and stay healthier together. There’s something so charming about seeing them interact in different situations that I couldn’t resist capturing their bond in this piece I painted over on a relaxing weekend!
