Habitat: Found in the Andes Mountains and adjacent Pacific coasts of western South America
Characteristics: The Andean condor is the largest flying bird in the world by combined measurement of weight and wingspan. It's primarily a scavenger, feeding on carrion preferring large carcasses, such as those of deer or cattle.
Bird Size: It measures from 100 to 130 cm, wingspan from 270 to 320 cm and weight 11-15 Kg.
