Do you love animals, flowers, and the quiet beauty of nature? Me too!
I'm Heidi Lots, and I paint realistic watercolors inspired by the natural world. With each brushstroke, I aim to showcase its beauty, protect it, and spark enthusiasm—especially through my painting courses.
This website is my little shop window, created with lots of love.
I'm so happy you're here!

My purpose

Art For Conservation

Painting just to decorate has never fulfilled me. As a young girl, I’ve always felt that my art needed a deeper purpose. For me, conservation is that essential complement; it’s what transforms a simple project into a true passion. I come from Argentina, a country that feels like a miniature version of planet Earth. Its incredible range of environments is reflected in a privileged diversity of birds: nearly 1,000 species call it home. Every year, the Horneros (nature’s architects) grace a new lamppost or fence with their iconic nests, shaped like old wood-fired ovens. The Red Knot (Calidris canutus rufa) travels over 14,000 kilometers from the Arctic to spend summer on Argentina’s southern beaches. And the Emperor Penguin brings a touch of glamour to our harsh Antarctic coast, though who knows for how much longer? I often wonder: how much we know about this wild sanctuary at "the end of the world"? Who wouldn’t be enchanted by these birds in their natural beauty, while also knowing they’re free? And how can we help endangered species so they continue to color our landscapes? Through my artwork, I’m determined to share the breathtaking birdlife of my homeland with the world. And with each painting sold, I aim to support bird conservation, working hand in hand with organizations, natural reserves and passionate individuals, under my guiding motto: Art for Conservation.

Heidi Lots

I'm Heidi Lots, an artist from Argentina with German roots, a nature lover, and a passionate watercolor painter. Even as a child, I was fascinated by nature. My mother admired it, my father painted it, and I wanted to do both: observe and express.

Although I initially chose a different professional path, painting was always my retreat, a quiet balance between structure and creativity. A turning point came during my collaboration with the Villavicencio Nature Reserve as part of my work with Danone. It was there that I realized how deeply art and conservation can be connected.

Since 2015, I've been living in Europe and fully dedicated to my mission: through my realistic watercolors, I aim to capture the beauty of nature and help protect it. To do so, I collaborate with organizations, nature reserves, and individuals who share the same vision: Lots Nature - Art for Conservation.
