How does art contribute to conservation? It’s a question I’m often asked. And the truth is, there are many ways, both direct and indirect, but what truly matters is that the contribution is genuine. One clear example is my collaboration with Senderos del Monte, a private nature reserve in Entre Ríos, Argentina, which I had the privilege of visiting. Like many private reserves, it was born from the commitment of individuals who choose to protect, regenerate, and care for the environment, dedicating their time and resources to give wildlife a space of its own. The team at Senderos not only embraced this mission but also chose to open their doors and offer an educational space that fosters connection with nature, all through personal effort and dedication. So why not support them in this beautiful task? That’s how my watercolors become educational and outreach materials, helping make each experience in the reserve clearer, more engaging, and enriched with shared knowledge and value. This collaboration is also an open invitation to other nature reserves and organizations with a similar mission: to connect and make use of these materials. Birds organisations work on the project “Tordo amarillo” to preserve the Saffron-cowled blackbird (Xanthopsar flavus). They need money for transport costs for 20.000 km for bird registration und 20 cameeras for birdwatching. For that there is a little birdhouse (box) in the  beast of Predatory House in the Karlsruhe Zoo where you may put a little donation.
